About the studio
Duoplate started in 2019 with a second-hand duplicator, one red drum and a strong opinion about paper. Seven years on it is still two of us — one on ink and drums, one on type and marks — printing identities for people who make things you can hold.
The manifesto
We believe two honest inks beat four slick ones. We proof on the paper you will touch, not the screen you will close. And we keep every misprint — the good ones become covers.
